About

Our practice is focused on helping our clients with putting an essential legal readiness plan in place. Other attorneys may offer estate planning among many other services but that is all we do. We prefer to call what we do with our clients Peace of Mind Planning as our goal is a coordination of their legal and financial plans to ensure the success of their plan.

In the same way that you go to a medical specialist for a particular condition, you should go to a legal specialist for the services you need. We are your local area specialist for Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, and other critical legal planning tools.

We have an information paper we provide to anyone who contacts us about Three Critical Things to Look for in an Estate Planning Attorney. Those three things are education, expertise, and enthusiasm. This last one surprises folks but at Reilly Law, PLC our focus on our client's essential legal readiness is our passion. George Reilly was a Navy attorney for more than 22 years and spent a great deal of time helping Sailors, Marines, and their families prepare for potential legal issues, including the very real and difficult circumstances of serious illness, disability, or death.

This experience is what led George to open a law practice with this same focus--helping clients prepare for the just in case. We call it Peace of Mind Planning because once the plan is in place our clients tell us they truly have a weight off their shoulders and feel peace of mind. Not putting a plan in place does NOT make the just in case events NOT happen. It just makes it that much harder on the family members trying to take care of the many issues that arise while also dealing with the emotional distress of the difficult situation. There is no peace of mind for them.

Frequently asked questions

We send out a "welcome aboard" package of information about what we prefer to call Peace of Mind Planning. We ask that clients complete the two questionnaires in that package before coming in to the office for an initial no-cost, no-obligation meeting. We can also arrange a virtual meeting.

If a client proceeds we have an enagement agreement, a retainer fee, and we prepare draft documents for the client's review with additional calls or meetings as needed to get the plan right. Once approved we set up a signing meeting and finalize the plan.

We offer a free review every two years to make sure the client's plan is still what they want or need and are available to update things as needed.

George Reilly has been an attorney for more than 34 years. He was a Navy Judge Advocate for 22 years of his career and spent a significant amount of his career providing essential legal services to Sailors, Marines, and their families.

He also has a Master of Laws with a concentration in tax issues and has earned the Certified Financial Planner(TM) mark. This unique education and experience help George coordinate a client's legal and financial planning.

We provide prospective clients with our standard fixed project fee schedule. Any additional fees are discussed with the client at the initial meeting.

Our "Young Family Plan" (or "Young at Heart Plan" for more experienced clients) is an essential legal readiness package for a fixed fee of $995.00 for a couple or $900.00 for a single individual.

We are a veteran-owned business and offer discounts for current and former military members, government employees, first responders, and teachers.
