I am Susan Eleff, an attorney with over forty years of experience in estate planning, business transactions and commercial real estate matters. I welcome new clients in the areas where I practice, and make every effort to provide outstanding service.
My estate planning practice includes the preparation of wills, trust agreements, family limited partnerships with planned gifting, powers of attorney, medical directives, and estate administration, including resolution of controversies. I formulate comprehensive plans to address tax aspects, asset protection and business succession, in accordance with clients' needs and priorities.
I am admitted to practice in Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Illinois. I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, and was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving my B.A. there in two years after high school, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, with honors in my major, Economics, where I was awarded the Shanbaum Prize (top Economics graduate). I have been rated "AV Preeminent" in the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings, the highest rating possible for both skills and ethics, and hold a 10.0 Superb rating with the Avvo attorney rating website.

I offer a free initial consultation of about 15 minutes. I prefer that my potential clients fill out my questionnaire and submit before we chat, which I review before the consultation, at no charge as well.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
We're happy to tell you all about our safety measures during these challenging times. We hold all client meetings outdoors, in our beautiful garden setting in Silver Spring, Maryland. We wear masks, and require all clients to do so, too. We santize all surfaces regularly and observe social distancing.
