What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We send an estate planning questionnaire and set a date for our first meeting. At that meeting we review the questionnaire and ask for any additional informatoin needed. We also set a date for signing the final documents. We then create a Plan Summary, and email to the client for review. Once we receive a final Plan Summary, we draft the estate planning documents. Finally, we meet for a signing ceremony!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Melissa and Jody have been working together since May of 2016. Prior to that, we each worked estate planning for several years. We are members of the Colorado Bar Association and receive 15 hours of training through the Bar each year.
