About
I have been in private practice since 2000. I love connecting people with good support systems so that therapy is only part of the picture. Books, workbooks, journaling, support groups, seminars, workshops, and trainings are all explored to find the right fit for each client. I enjoy treating issues such as trauma, codependency, ACOA, process addictions, infertility, grief/loss, spiritual formation, and more! I am the expert on resources, you are the expert on you, so we are a team to find what ways you can best receive. I work with individuals, couples, families and groups.
Though my office is on the north east side of the Springs, I am currently seeing clients on hippa compliant video platform only. I work part time so I am not a great fit for everyone. I offer sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9am -3pm and a half day two Saturdays per month. I use an eclectic approach to talk therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems therapy and other insight based therapies as well as using Trauma Reprocessing Tools.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a brief phone call to make sure I understand what a client is looking for and that I am the best fit for the client. If hired, the client emails me to receive the paperwork to fill out prior to the first session. At the first session, I am learning about what the client specifically wants to work on or process. Typically, the second session is a history session and the third is a goal setting session. Then, each week we meet and might have homework assignments to enhance our process.
