About
The one thing I would like you to know about me is my commitment to helping clients manage anger, deal more effectively with conflict, and understand personal relationships a little better. My education is in psychology, however I combine this with teaching skills that are easy to implement and crucial to managing anger, conflict and relationships. I have worked with a diverse population, including overseas, and the military.
I have a clinical psychology background with a BA in psychology and an MA in counseling psychology. I completed my doctorate degree in Psychology in 2020. I am a Gottman trained educator and a trained conflict coach. I teach anger management and stress management techniques. Although my education gives me a skilled background I combine it with experience and a passion and energy for working with people who need some skilled help. I have a positive perspective on life and a great sense of humor.
I enjoy most is passing along some research based, effective skills and strategies that really can make managing anger and dealing with conflict easier. Once you master some of these skills then life becomes much easier.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is to make contact over the phone with the client and confirm the skills and help I offer is best suited to what the client needs at the time. Chances are you've been struggling with anger for a while, or recognize it's becoming a problem. Maybe you've lost or are struggling with relationships as a result. I will listen to you about where you are having the most difficulty and how you need my help. I don't charge for an initial 20 minute information session. Together we can decide if I'm the best person to help you.
With regards to anger management work I am a huge proponent of teaching skills so as to better manage your anger and deal with conflict more effectively. Interspersed with these skills are discussions regarding the physiological and personal costs of anger, understanding your anger, and some relaxation skills. Being familiar with basic management skills can not only make your life easier but can also impact those around you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have three degrees in psychology. I have worked in several different behavioral health environments where I continue to nurture a passion in anger management and dealing with conflict.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do not accept insurance. I have specific time periods for anger management work which we can discuss during the inital conversation. Usually anger management work has an average of four - six weekly sessions, each lasting 50 minutes long. I have a standard pricing system of $100 per each weekly session.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mainly adults, however more recently freshman college students. I have a special interest in working with the military.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Definitely look at background education, however you want to work with someone who not only really loves the subject but who has skills and strategies that are known to be effective in managing anger.
