About
Often, financial brokers work with a bank, brokerage firm, or other financial institution that manufactures and distributes its own proprietary products. This can result in biases and conflicts of interest. As an independent registered investment advisory firm, I:
1. Offer a wide range of services without any conflicts of interest, proprietary products to sell, or quotas to meet.
2. Provide conflict-free, objective, timely, and actionable research and advice.
3. Offer complete transparency, from the fees we charge, to the strategies we employ.
It was 19 years ago when I was introduced to the industry and it became quickly evident that I had a knack for it. Mostly because it allows me to be creative and work on complex issues.
I have been fortunate over the years to work with a wide range of clientele, from young families struggling between debt management and investment planning; to small business owners trying to develop an exit strategy at retirement; to top executives and CEO’s of large corporations on executive compensation and employee benefit plans.
I have found a personal interest in understanding the complexities that surround financial products and strategies and have made it a point to obtain the necessary knowledge.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always have a free consultation meeting so that we can understand what the needs are from the prospective client and for everyone to know what is expected out of the relationship.
Beyond that each clients situation is usually different. Some may only need investment management which may only require one or two meetings and an occasional review, while others may be developing a full financial plan or looking for help with legacy planning which may be an ongoing project.
We make sure we are always accessible to our clients, so if that means having multiple meetings or conversations, we make sure to spend the time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With almost two decades of experience working in investment management and financial planning, I have been able to work on a wide variaty of different situations. Everything from young professionals just starting out who are juggling student debt and learning to invest, to some of the wealthiest families in Southern California. But I have become a specialist in working with clients that that have complicated situations such as failure to launch kids and family run businesses. I hold the Certified Financial Planner designation, Certified Investment analyst designation and have graduated with a Masters in taxation from Howard Taft University.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
