I have been working as a psychotherapist for over 35 years. You can find me on Psychology Today the website. I have study with Dr. Dan Hughes and many of his students for many years. I am a certified Circle of Security trainer. My focus has been on attachment theory and family dynamics. An area of special interest for me has been on working with adoptees and those who have neuro-cognitive or social-cognitive challenges.
I love connecting with my clients and being a participant in their growth as self-confident loved and loving beings.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After establishing a place and time that works best to meet your needs we will clarify what you goal is in seeking therapy. I work in a collaborative manner to co-create an understanding of how the beliefs and strategies that have allowed you to get this far may or may not be working now. I see psychotherapy as a process which requires both the client and therapist to be open,authentic and vulnerable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters degree in counseling and I have been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist for 35 years. I have additional training an expertise in the area of attachment therapy which informs my work with many different relational and psychological challenges.
