We help families interested in completing the divorce process with as little court involvement and as little fighting between the parties as possible. Often such is the case with military families, young professional who jumped into a marriage too early, and couples with irreconcilable disagreements concerning how soon or how late to have children. Typically, our clients do not detest their spouses but rather have made the determination that marriage does not fit for them any longer.
Divorce can be complicated and stressful for the parties. I enjoy taking that strain off of them and navigating our clients through the processes while also providing them with communication and understanding as to why the system is set up the way that it is.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process for a new client is simple. A prospective client will call and answer a few general questions during our initial intake process. Shortly thereafter (typically the same day), a family law attorney will review the intake and call the prospective client to discuss their family law issues. In that call, the prospective client is provided with basic information and informed about court charges and case fees so that clients sensitive to cost issues can get a quick understanding about these issues. Lastly, the client will make an appointment to have a free consultation for thirty minutes and decide if he or she wishes to hire us.
