What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally try to answer general questions over the phone; this is to help me get an idea of what the client wants and whether or not I am the best fit for them. If it turns out to be a good match, I will set up an appointment where I will review information they bring in, such as financials and income information.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from law school after being a paralegal at a law firm in San Diego for 5 years. Dealing with people is oftentimes more important than the legal issues, which can oftentimes be simple. Rather, it is making sure that they know what they want at this very confusing time in their life, clarifying their goals if necessary, and then showing them how I plan on getting it for them.
