"I just wanted to quit smoking! My life was great but I am 71 years old and I felt anxious about continuing to smoke and I struggled with actually doing it. I was very excited about working with a hypnotherapist and Farzin was so nice and I felt that he was easy to talk to. I looked forward to our sessions. It took me a while, but the more I practiced what Farzin had given me to listen and talk about, the more the desire to smoke became less, and I was no longer feeling so much anxiety. I felt like I was getting more productive in all aspects of my life without thinking about smoking! I had more energy to accomplish everything. I would say my life is definitely better!!! Finding Jason and Village Hypnotherapy has been the one good thing in this horrible year! In finding hypnotherapy i feel like I've been connected to a part of myself long buried under negative self talk, excessive worry and anxiety. I'm starting to find the essence of myself again, and to gain skill with tools like guided meditation to calm me when anxiety threatens to take over. I was very impressed with Jason's ability to explain what hypnotherapy was, and ease my fears about it. I had always been curious but my only experience with it was at fairs, or things I'd seen on television. My mother had quit smoking through hypnotherapy years ago and when the pandemic hit and many of my fears and anxieties were feeling out of control, I reached out, and i'm SO glad I did. I look forward to seeing where this process takes me, and am grateful to have found it immensely helpful in my journey to regain balance and tap into my dormant creativity!
