About
I am a double licensed therapist (Licensed Clinical Social Worker; Marriage and Family Therapist) with Masters Degrees in both Counseling and Clinical Social Work. I have over thirty years’ experience and have taught and supervised other therapists in performing psychotherapy. I have specialized training in individual, couples, family and child psychotherapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and have worked with clients with anxiety, depression, adoption and abuse issues. I have taught stress management, CBT and parenting classes.
I love my work and think my experience has helped my clients and me to quickly identify and effectively work on their primary issues and move forward in their lives. I bring a full range approach to help you learn skills to solve your problems. I am extremely flexible in my office hours and can see you days, evenings and some weekends.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial session is an intake in which we discuss what brought you to therapy. By the end of the session, we have identified the primary issues and discuss the treatment plan. I often provide ideas on things that you can start doing that might be helpful to you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two Masters Degrees (Counseling, Clinical Social Work). I have had specialized training in a number of different types of psychotherapy (family, child, couples, parenting, stress management/anxiety, mood disorders, anger management.

I accept most major insurance plans which provide for mental health coverage as well as private pay. We can discuss a sliding scale if needed.
