What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To get started, we usually have a phone call to talk about a family's probate situation. From there, we can use email, texting, office meetings, video chats...whatever is easiest to communicate and exchange information.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 20 years experience working in every probate court in Souther California.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Probate costs are determined by the value of the estate and are set by the Court according to a formula:
First $100,000 - 4%
Next, $100,000 - 3%
Next $800,000 - 2%
How did you get started in this business?
I started working with families that needed probate services as it was clear to me that I could make the process smoother for them in their time of mourning.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have assisted all types of families...surviving spouses, children, parents, siblings and cousins. If your loved one died without an estate plan, I can help talk about options for settling their estate.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
In looking for a probate attorney, I advise that the family find someone who 1) is easily accessible, 2) knows how to use technology to facilitate communication and exchange of information and 3) will listen and guide with compassion
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Families need to consider who they want to represent that family as the Administrator, if the Executor has not been named in the Will. I am available to talk through the options of how to select an Administrator.
