What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each client is unique. I began with what event or events caused them to seek out support at this time. I begin to gather related background information. I inform them of my services and fees. I then begin to practice active listening. I answer questions. We enter into agreement. I schedule our first session. I collect fee. I schedule the appointment and end this meeting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a trained Marriage and Family Therapist, a trained Professional Clinical Counselor, and a Sexual Assault and Crisis counselor. I have a specialization background that includes, Domestic Violence, Anger Management, Trauma, Complex Trauma and Sexual Assault.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
First 30min. meeting is paid for by the service( complimentary) Individuals: I accept payments in sessions of 6. Clients will invest $85.00 - $120.00 per hour depending on the requested service . Two : $170. 00 per hour Family: up to 4 members $325.00 per hour must committ to 6 sessions additional family members will invest $65.00 up to 6 family members and $60.00 up to 8 family members. Families members over 8 will invest to have another professional in the sessions
How did you get started in this business?
It began as a cultural practice. It grew as I entered into studying the causes of behaviors.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Customers that requested support in the areas of Relationship issues( boundaries), and Health and Relation (emotional issues), (healthy habits, less sugar, and fats, meal prep ), and Financial issues (what type of life insurance policy to invest in) Financial resources of different sorts and employment.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The event focused on building Healthy, Strong Community 11/13/2021, were a I assembled a group of vendors together to meet, celebrate and share their businesses with good food, music, and the community at the community Art Gallery.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for and choose someone you feel comfortable with at the beginning. Ask questions. Focus on what you want. Be open to getting what you what, in a way you have never been before. Comment to the process. Be truthful. Remeber why you needed support!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should know what they want. Customers should be clear about their intentions. Customers should be honest!
