I enjoy immensely connecting with people and them find healing and happiness. I also like the one-on-one and face-to-face interactions, especially when an individual or a family has a breakthrough.
I am a Family Therapist/Counselor who specializes in relationship/marriage counseling helping couples and families to successfully navigate their marriage and family issues by providing them tools that will enable them to resolve their differences. Issues like conflict resolution, communication, building trust and emotional intimacy are shared.
Other specialty areas include: Childhood trauma, grief and bereavement counseling, stress and anxiety, depression, and anger management.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I tend to break the ice by sharing pertinent information about myself. I then follow up by asking questions so as to get to know the new client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a PhD in Psychology with an emphasis in Family Studies and Intervention Strategies, a Master of Divinity and a Master's degree in counseling. I am a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor by the Board of Christian Professional and Pastoral Counselors (BCPPC). Pastoral Counselors are Psychotherapist who are both Theologically and clinically trained. Please know that I use sound theoretical counseling principles/theories i.e., (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing) for those who are non religious and are concerned that their counseling session would simply be spiritually-based. I'm also certified as a Family Court Mediator as well as certified as a Chaplain with a specialty in grief, trauma, and bereavement counseling.

My counseling fees range from $90- $110 per session. Please know my fees are flexible as I am sensitive to people's budgetary concerns.
How did you get started in this business?
As a Psychologist/counselor I've interacted with a variety of people from different backgrounds and cultures. People naturally gravitate to me because I'm easygoing and down to earth. Subsequently I've been ask to perform about 450 wedding over the past 20 years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with any and everyone who happens to be dealing with negative life circumstances and emotions.
