About
I practice in the area of family law including divorce, child custody, spousal and child support, etc. I'm often available outside of regular work hours and have appointment times available in the evenings and on weekends.
People frequently tell me that lawyers are hard to get in touch with, that they don't give enough feedback and that they don't always know what's going in in their cases. I like to be different!
If a matter is pressing or urgent, I can generally be reached outside of office hours. Problems don't always arise between 9 and 5!
I have worked in this field for 25 years. I am a sole practitioner and work on my own. All work prepared by my office is done by me personally. My fees are affordable. If necessary or helpful, I can meet with clients on Saturdays or in the evening. I want to help!
I really enjoy helping people through some very challenging issues. Disputes concerning child custody and visitation, financial and support issues and simply just getting divorced can be very difficult. My experience can help people get through complicated family law issues. I have gone through those situations myself, and I know what it's like to have unanswered questions.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Free initial consultation in my office or by phone. Payment plans available in many cases.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 25 years experience in family law.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Generally, my minimum retainer is $1,750 although that could be higher if there are more complicated issues involved in your case.
How did you get started in this business?
I went into family law right out of law school. I learned some of my most valuable family law lessons by going through a divorce myself. Although there were disputes in my case concerning child custody and visitation, both of my sons made it into adulthood in good shape and they continue to be close to both of their parents.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Many of my clients have limited financial resources and I have often been able to obtain a favorable result for them at very reasonable prices.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you are comfortable with the attorney you hire. It makes things so much easier when you are able to communicate freely with your legal representative.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How much will this cost? What results can I reasonably expect?
