I have more than 25 years of successful practice as an attorney at large law firms, smaller law firms, and now my own firm.
I am registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. I am admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, and all state and federal courts in California.
In 1993-1994, I served as law clerk to U.S. District Judge Linda H. McLaughlin, Central District of California.
I received my J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. I worked as a research chemist prior to attending law school, and I am a co-inventor of a patented process for the recovery of a precious metal (U.S. Patent No. 5,654,458).
