About
My hope is for you to feel seen, heard and accepted, no matter the experience or emotion. I am here to support you through your challenges with compassion. If you feel like you could use a little more support, I'd love to work with you. It would be my honor to help you achieve your goals and live your best life.
I am a trauma informed therapist with training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I spent the past three years working in a co-occurring, dual diagnosis treatment center supporting adolescents, adults and elders who were struggling with mental health symptoms and/or addiction. I have spent several years working with clients who have trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family issues and internal struggles. I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology from National University. I hold a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from CSU Monterey Bay. I worked in business, directing operations and managing large teams for several years before switching careers to the helping profession. I am a certified Yoga Instructor who integrates mindfulness into my work with clients. I have traveled internationally for several years in my mid 20’s, which has provided depth and cultural sensitivity to my work with clients.
I create a warm, non-judgmental space where you are safe to talk and feel. I draw upon humanistic, existential, and psychodynamic approaches to psychotherapy. I utilize EMDR, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and mindfulness to help deepen processing. I use elements of positive psychology to empower your strengths and foster growth, healing and create change.

I enjoy being a therapist because I get to walk with you on your path to freedom and happiness. It is my honor to hold space for you so that all parts of you can be seen and accepted. It is my life's purpose to help others in achieving their dreams and feeling their best. I think we all need support and encouragement. I hold space to see you with unconditional positive regard, with the upmost understanding, and with compassion. It would be my honor to be in your corner, supporting you. I believe our wounds are often the most beautiful parts of ourselves. There is always hope.

How did you get started in this business?
I began working as a therapist after pursing support for my own mental health. I was fascinated by the process, the insight and the depth of knowledge it provided. After doing my own work, I pursued my Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology to further my education, breadth of knowledge and to help others. Being of service is fufilling and my passion.
