I am an entrepreneur who has ramped up several start-up companies, as well as my own law practice, real estate brokerage and loan brokerage. I left my big law firm job so I could work directly with clients and help them solve problems and build empires. 

As an attorney, I often serve as outside general counsel, handling litigation, transactional and trust/probate matters for my client. I bring in specialists as necessary, but am always involved. I have successfully tried high-stakes business disputes, represented and administered multi-million dollar trusts, and closed multi-million dollar business deals. One of my long-time clients was bought out in a deal valued at over $500 million. I currently serve as Chairman of the Board of a multi-million dollar manufacturing company in a growth cycle.  I know what it is like from both sides of the table.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We generally like to have an initial consultation with the client in-person or over the phone or Skype to determine whether we can help the client, and to determine initial steps if we can.  After we are retained, the designated points of contact will then communicate and meet as necessary to move the matter forward.  Our goal is to make sure that everyone is keep informed and "in the loop", and information and documents can be exchanged quickly and efficiently, so we employ whatever platforms the clients are comfortable with, whether it's email, cloud storage, fax, snail mail, telephone or courier pigeon.


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

In addition to having substantial experience in big-firm, small firm and in-house environments, we are entrepreneurs in our own right.  Our principals have beein involved in all types of business endeavors, from founding a start-up technology company, running a successful restaurant, to serving on the Board of Directors of a mult-million dollar manufacturing company.  This experience allows us to better understand our clients' needs, as we've been in the trenches.  We are also experts in real estate and probate/trust matters, and have been involved in structuring deals and estate plans up front, defending them from attack, and ensuring these deals and plans are carried out at the end.
