I have a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, and have done individual and marriage and family counseling for thirty years. I am committed to helping people toward mastery and peak performance in all aspects of life. Having done original research on the enneagram personality system, I have an excellent understanding of how personality is formed and can be changed. I know many 'best practices' for emotional intelligence, and have created a LinkedIn Group titled Emotional Intelligence Best Practices. Since all emotional extremes apparently result from imbalances in our subtle energy systems, I teach clients how to use simple psychophysical Kum Nye exercises to energize and quickly balance those energies.

After years of teaching meditation, I wrote Flow, Glow, and Zero: Introducing a Vision of Peak Performance for the New Millennium, showing how we can bridge the current divide between organizations' concern with productivity and results, and the individual's personal desires, quality of experience, and fulfillment. This was based on enlightened master Tarthang Tulku's Time, Space, and Knowledge vision of three possible levels of human performance.

Summarizing years of workshops when I taught how to transform our experience of time, I wrote Results in No Time, which shows how we can find the timeless, peaceful, yet most productive zone at the center of our whirlwind of activities, and produce results in no time.

I thoroughly enjoy clarifying issues and finding keys to resolving the issues. I also enjoy teaching meditation to help people optimize their experience and performance.

The thing thats almost more gratifying than getting the thing done is the lack of the pain of the procrastination, the painful emotional experience of knowing that its got to get done and just feeling so guilty and full of emotional pain about it. The apprehension of the procrastination feeling wasnt there. I just went to it, and started in with it, and I didnt tell myself anything like, Now, Ive edited the form, Im a good editor, and I know I can do it, so . . . I didnt do any of those build-up things. I just went to it and did it without all this preparatory stuff. Thats garbage! That just strengthens the whole apprehension thing, it just adds to it. And I didnt do that, that was all eliminated. I think that was the most exciting and the most innovative and the first experience of that kind Ive ever had.

This is really good stuff. I think you really have something rather terrific there. I think the exercises were wonderful. Ive been using them since Sunday, especially the breathing. . . This week Im giving up smoking, and so I have been using the breathing exercises especially to release the anxiety and the tension and its really been helping.

The breathing technique is really powerful. I really notice quite a difference. I combine it with my Tai Chi, so I found it very, very effective. I find that you dont get the thoughts coming in like I used to. I dont get any negative thoughts coming in, or any thoughts at all. I noticed a real energy increase during the day.
