About

The Bodywork Sessons provide access to greater consciousness which significantly helps in the healing process. This is mainly due to the length of time on the table in addition to the eclectic approach of modalities.

I enjoy watching people come back from a well deserved and cherished deep relaxation. I will never grow tired of listening to what the experience was like. Since it's not the normal 30 or 60 minute session, there is more time spent in an altered state, instead of being distracted with the physical world. There's nothing like the experience of a body's and body's regeneration and rejeuvanation.

Frequently asked questions

The process is the same as with existing clients. Approacing the body and mind with Kindness, Caring, Attentiveness, and listening for what's needed. Synchronicity is key.

Many years of using different modalities with which to help a body and mind vibrate and function optimally. An eclectic approaches is a great way to customize any massage experience. Following a template format helps the client gain a sense of familiarity and trust. Adding to that what the body and mind are asking for, allows a unique expression of energy balancing to occur. Very Healing!

Standard Pricing is as follows:

1.5 hr Session - 135
2 hr Session - 170
2.5 hr Session - 215
3 hr Session - 265

Most devoted massage clients choose either the 2 or 2.5 hr sessions.
Suggestion - The 3 hr Session is for clients who need a complete 'reset' of energy and focus, which helps the body do what it does best ... Heal
The 1.5 hr Session is a client's normal 'Pit Stop' appointment. And Finally...
The 2 & 2.5 hr Sessions put you where you want to be.

All it took was going to massage school and being touched on a continual basis. It was an instant awareness that we simply need to be touched.
It is optimally a healthy practice to be hugged.
Think of folks who you give hugs to - Some hug like a pillow while some hug like a 2X4 piece of wood. Enough said.

Many years ago, I helped fuel a movement where friends of mine went into public areas with hand-held signs which said, "FREE HUGS" and spent hours hugging total strangers. You can see this on You Tube. We did it in Ashand Oregon, New Jersey and Phoenix. What an awesome gift that was... for the huggers and the huggees!

Not sure if there is a 'type'. Perhaps there are those who love to be touched, those who are on the fence about it, and those who are uninterested. It's the first two who are customers. Although the last group would surely have the greatest benefit, touching may occur as a violation and be too uncomfortable. We much keep in mind that we are all products of our past until that is... we aren't.

No particular event other than any event where there is a sense of belonging and community! Authenticity is key as it relates to both.

Pay close attention. You will know within the first 5 minutes of being touched if the bodyworker is right for you.

The 'how much' question is asked way before its time. That is not what is really important. The 'how long' is also secondary until you find out what it is your about to have done. The most important thing is to learn how the Pro approaches the body, mind and spirit. After all, you are lying on a table, covered but naked, vulnerable and often tentative, and simply need to trust who's working on you will keep you in good care, while you allow yourself to deeply relax and heal.
