About
I help clients get to the core issues that create barriers to their individual successes in specific areas of their lives. I believe in the theory of unconscious motivation. I utilize a host of theories to lead my clients to the source of maladaptive behaviors that dictate their responses to others and conditions & situations in their environments.
Because of the problems that addiction causes for individuals, those who love them, and all areas of society, I have spent 17 years in the addiction field. However, getting to the core of issues that drive the compulsion to use has necessitated taking individuals to childhood thought processes that worked then, were stored in the unconscious, & continue to dictate their responses to others today. Seeing them break through & move forward is indescribably gratifying.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Obtaining a complete psychological and socialogical profile, which is typical of behavioral health intakes is the first step in the process. Exploring current issues, and putting it all together is the process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master Degree in Mental Health Counseling from NOVA University School of Psychological Studies, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Completion of coursework for Ph. D. W/focus on childhood psychological development & unconscious motivation. Certification-REBT @ Albert Ellis Institute.
Symposium in psychiatric neuroscience, Harvard Medical School.
