About

I'm providing a new avenue to mental health and relationships. It's based on thinking better so we can perform better. I've fused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Behavior Analysis, and Neuroscience to create a practical way of functioning with greater efficiency. It's coaching, psychoeducation, and strategy.

I love sharing progress and effective tactics to live better. I continue to study, achieve new goals, and help more people. It's what I'm here for...

Frequently asked questions

First, I'd like to get to know the client from a "needs" perspective.  We both need to make sure it's a good fit and I have the skill set to help the client.  Second, we establish a basic schedule including expectations and goals.  Third, we dig in - we meet, we discuss, I ask a lot of questions, I help the client feel better.

Undergraduate degree in Education, Master's of Business Administration focused on Organizational Behavior, Independent Post-Graduate studies in Neuroscience, Emotional Intelligence, Positive Psychology, Performance Psychology, Post-Graduate Diploma in Behavior Analysis, Graduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavior Therapy.  Technically I'm a Behavior Analyst and Cognitive Behavior Therapist, but it's most appropriate to say I'm a Cognitive Behavior Strategist.  Most of what I do is based on an educational therapy model.  I find that when people know more about how the brain works, what strategies and tactics are available, and how to think better, the more successful they become.

Typical rate is $85/hour meeting once/week is ideal, however I can be flexible depending on the client's needs.

I saw a need with adolescents and their anger, frustration, depression, and anxiety.  From there, I started to explore various psychology and behavior analysis programs.  Since then, I'm focused on helping creating a new level of mental health coaching; it emphasizes better thinking strategies.

Adolescents, professionals, educators, and small business owners.  My three areas of focus are:

1) Adolescent behavior

2) Relationships

3) Anger/Anxiety/Depression

I can't say as I have one - every time I meet with a client and I receive positive feedback that they're doing well, I'm happy.  Most of the time, my sessions are finite; that is, we meet for a set period of time, I coach them through a series of tactics, and then we end.  I now offer "Booster" sessions to keep them thinking with efficiency, that's probably the biggest joy - progress and changed behavior.

Understand there is therapy and stability - most people are in the middle, that's my specialty.  Look for pros that can offer you something different, but based on a strong education.   Because I'm a small business owner, I can keep my costs low which translates to a reasonable rate - this makes me more accessible.

In the end, make sure you like your professional.  The relationship is everything.

Did I look at their profile?

Do they have a strong background/education in the field?

Are they reasonably priced?

Do they have passion for what they do?
