About
My service is different from others in that it is a blend of various modalties I've studied AND used myself to help me during my transition from the military. For the last 10 years, I've used the that knowledge to help others overcome a number of mental health issues in as little as 1-2 sessions without the use of most 'traditional' methods.
I hold certifications in :
Conversational Hypnotherapy (IAPCH)
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP Academy)
Cognitive Behavoral Therapy (Practitioners Mastery Course)
EMDR - (School for Healing)

The people!!!
We all experience life in our own unique way and being able to work in a field where I can see 2 almost identical truths show up so differently in people while unraveling the "issue" those truths are holding is exciting and rewarding for me.
Reminds me of my time in the military.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a strategy session. A time for me to get to know you and how you operate in the world. Many therapies want to focus on the issue and how the process can allievate thier pain but if our goal to acheive organic, lasting change that can grow with you then we need to respect the human aspect of things. We are uniquely different in many ways and it is those differences that will shape your session. So we need to spend a few minutes identifying what will work best for you as an individual and if I am even good match to acheive your goals.
We also talk about the structure and what to expect during the session.
60-75 mins
lots of stories and "thought-experiments" to help tease away the thinking that is causing you problems.
and an overall enjoyable experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a verteran of the United States Marine Corps. I've been able to gain unique insight in the application of Neuro Linguistic Programming beyond that which would be needed to facilitate change in a non-military training enviroment.
I also hold certifications in :
Neuro Linguistis Programming
Conversational Hypnosis
CBT
EMDR
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes.
Issue Specific Work - $250 covers 2 sessions
4 week Transformation Package - $800
Issue specific work is defined as getting over stress/anxiety or relieving a trauma or phobia.
Transformation packages are reserved for more complex cases where multiple sessions are needed to address the varying layers of an issue. This is common with things like Weight loss, eating disorders, Life after divorce/loss or people ready to make DRASTIC changes in their life.
In most cases, all work can be covered by FSA/HSA
How did you get started in this business?
There are so many 3 letter therapies that finding one that works can be a bigger headache than the issues you need it for.
I felt the same way when transitioning from the United States Marine Corps so I set out to find what made them all work. My tenacity lead me to NLP and Conversational Hypnosis, and an understanding of the human mind that made logical sense when addressing things like, stress, anxiety and larger issues like eating disorders and PTSD. This knowledge helped me understand how to ease the transition and take back control of my mind, my body, and my life and now I help people overcome similar issues using the combination of NLP, Hypnosis, and 'thought experiments' come to be known as Change Work and now I help others do the same.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with a variety of issues including phobias, traumas, eating disorders, and anxiety/stress realted illnesses. I also have a background in Hypnotic Pain Control.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Change isn't a process, it is an experience so the person you choose to work with should feel a bit like a friend. Someone that wants to know you and understand who you are more than just run through thier healing "process."
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Am I willing to take responsibilty for what these professionals are asking of me?
If you do not see yourself fully commiting to what is being offered/suggested to help facilitate change then DON'T do it hoping it will work anyway.
We live life from the 'inside-out' meaning that we think and feel before we LIVE out the reality. And since both those things happen internally, we need to make sure that you are all in or we are only setting you up for failure.
