I am an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LCDC (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor) in Texas a CSAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist) and CMAT (Certified Multiple Addictions Therapist). I specialize in sex addiction, trauma, couples counseling and EMDR.

My practice is both in office and online - for people drawn to the immediacy and convenience of computer based counseling and regular office visits. Online (generally) yields crisp video and audio, creating life-like sessions. So the "feel" is very realistic - very similar to an office visit.

My clients agree: "thumbs up" for online therapy! It's user-friendly. If you are marginally computer savvy, checking in for online sessions may prove to be a "natural." I invite you to step up to a new way to connect and heal!

Trauma (PTSD, Complex PTSD, sexual/physical/emotional/developmental abuse, natural disasters, growing up with environmental danger); sexual addictions (internet/porn, acting out), substance abuse (alcohol/chemical dependency), men's issues (post-divorce, relationships, career, stress), marital/couples work, sexual ID - Gay/Bi-sexual issues, anger management and mood disorders (depression/anxiety/bipolar) are my areas of expertise.

I hold a special place in my practice for Wounded Warriors and Veterans/do best with highly motivated clients who value faith as a pivotal healing point. I have deep training in numerous trauma/addiction/couples applications (psychodynamic, CBT, EMDR, EFT and Gestalt) and have learned that amazing progress can be accomplished in these areas. I base my successes on deeply relational work, insight formation and healing approaches which emphasize mind/body/spirit attunement.

I'm a committed Christian practitioner/value God's unique place in our work space, ­ yet I welcome members of all faiths and beliefs. I know that we can/will grow and learn together whatever our backgrounds.
