What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Free initial 15-20 minute phone/video conference to discuss desires and determine good fit, then scheduling first session, if desired and good fit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Dr. John has a Masters in Pastoral Counseling and a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Counseling. He is a Licensed Marriages & Family Therapist Supervisor and Board Certified in both Pastoral and Professional Christian Counseling. His doctoral research and thesis was on reconciliation and rebuilding trust.
Germanie James has a M.A. in Marriage & Family Therapy, is a Texas Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate and almost 5 years experience.
Jason Goodreau has a B.A. in Life Coaching, with emphasis on marriage and family and has almost 7 years experience.
Julie Forman is a Board Certified Advanced Life & Mental Health Coach with almost five years experience in coaching
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Standard rates vary from $45-$175/50 minute session, depending on which counselor or coach you choose. We do not charge different rates for individual, couples, or family counseling, or our life or relationship coaching. For those who have a big problem paying that rate, we may have donated scholarships available to lower the cost. We are a nonprofit and want to help all those who genuinely want help.
How did you get started in this business?
As a pastor, then military chaplain, I spent a lot of my time counseling marriages and families. As a result, I sought increased education to better help them.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Wide variety in all areas. Financially well off to financially struggling. Many different Christian denominational backgrounds. Single never married, divorced, widow/er, dating, engaged, and married.
