20+ years of professional accounting and business administration experience. High level of proficiency in all aspects of accounting and business administrative management, as well as general accounting knowledge and expertise. Hands-on knowledge and experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, project management, federal, state, and local grants management (CDBG, HOME, ESG & Disaster Recovery), funds accounting, financial accounting, compliance, tax preparation, and auditing. Extensive working knowledge of various accounting programs and business software.
As Senior Accountant/Consultant (contractor) for the Dept of Veterans Affairs I contribute expert knowledge and skills in the financial accounting, data cleanse, reconciliations as the client prepares for a major financial system upgrade.
