My Name is Casandra Tukes and I am the owner of Tukes Taxes & Consulting. I offer bookeeping and do-it-your-self credit repair assistance. Tukes Taxes is mobile and has no physical location. I offer assistance to all 50 stateunnecessaerson service needed but will provide in-person service for those upon request. My business goal is to provide affordable accurate and secure tax preparation services as well as bookkeeping services. Tukes taxes offers Business Profile Creation for self-empolyed and small business beginners. I am IRS certified paid tax preparer. I can can be searched on the ptin directory as well as the IRS site. 20 tax season has not yet ended the deadline to complete 2019 taxes is July 15, 2020. First time client/filer discount. Back taxes far as 2016.
I enjoy assisting people and teaching them how to better understand how to get the proper tax credits. I enjoy showing my clients how much there refund will be and how happy they are with my services. I dont charge outragous unnecessary fees. Im just trying to earn a living helping people. My goal is not to get rich just be able to be be my own boss, but if that gets me rich, NO complaints from me.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do a phone interview or video meeting to discuss any and all progress of services before during and after service has been completed and payments have been recieved. I also send an email with a list of required information and documents needed to complete services offered. I explain pricing over the phone and email. once all information has been discussed a price has been agreed upon and all information has been recieved I than proceed to complete the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I re-new my ptin every year. and use the IRS tax pro web site for contuing education hours. I am certified in Due diligence as a paid tax preparer.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do not have standard pricing I charge according to individual services. there are different levels of tax prep servicing. bookkeeping services require a monthly fee of 59.99 and up depends on business size. Business Profile Creation also has various pricing. You can purchase a do-it-your self pdf download instruction manual that provides you all the infomation to create your own Bussines profile for the low price of 19.99. Or I will personally build your profile for you. This process takes up to 3 days to complete depending on which creation package you choose. This service and pricing delivered upon request.
How did you get started in this business?
I became curious about tax prep in 2007. I enrolled in classes with H&R Block, it this time I worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant and saw this as a way to generate an extra income during tax season.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Ive worked with different types of customers with all kinds of tax needs, for example self-employed, 1099, small business, property tax, HSA savings, interest income, retirement income, socical security income, hobby income, Path Act, Individual tax returns etc...
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Build a trust relationship with your tax profesional. If your tax agent does not seem at all concerned about you as a human and seems to assit you as if this service is just a job. I'd be careful. first impression means alot to some of us and we have to trust tax agents with our personal infomation. You will know this is more than just a service provided because they will engage in outside conversation wanting to know about your family life wanting know you more personally, that is the person I would choose, but make sure the person or company is legit with the IRS before even showing up.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
That depends on the tax needs of the customer.
