What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Dr Mel holds a Doctorate in Psychology, emphasis in Health and Wellness in Organizational Leadership. Mel also holds a Master's in Student Affairs in Higher Education.
Coaching is with ICF, but also trained in motivational interviewing technique. Mel accumulated counseling, advising, and coaching skills while working at two different universities for a decade.

How did you get started in this business?
I came up through heavy counseling-based education and work, and 2010-2016 I obtained my Doctorate in Health Psychology which trained me to set up wellness or Employee Assistance Programs. Coaching is a natural fit and extension of skills acquired.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What is a reasonable timeframe to achieve goals, because ultimately, the client (you) sets the pace. How quickly a client clears hurdles speaks to readiness and ability to be coached. Are you coach-able?
