Why is my coaching unique? Most coaches teach only tactics which is needed however without developing strategies, you prolong or minimize your impact for reaching your goals. Knowing how to increase your value in the organization (career development) or effectively position yourself for a new career opportunity all involves a sound strategy. I’ve developed a personalized process for doing just that.
My passion is in helping individuals reach their career goals! That is why I am well known in St. Louis as the “Premier Coach”. I was also selected to become the Career columnists for the Post-Dispatch and have been featured in the Wall Street Journal for my expertise in Career Development/ Career Transition.
I have written 5 career books and speak to organizations about managing change.

It’s always hard to choose someone by reading their background that's why I encourage having a conversation with me so that we can together identify what would be a good first step for you. There are times that even after the first conversation, we have a better idea of our approach. Sometimes I’m not the first step in the process and I’m ok with that.
The goal in the initial call is to get a clear assessment of your needs, what is happening, what has lead you to this decision to make a change and talk about your time constraints, energy level/urgency and resources you want to invest to reaching your career goals.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a professional in your area of expertise?
Don't get talked into working with someone with only a few years experience. They might be cheeper but often don't have the expertise to get your career goals quickly.
Look for those that teach and coach STRATEGY! Tactics alone won't get you there very fast or not at all.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their needs?
Be very clear on what you think you need but be open to discover that you might have more needs than you think need to be addressed.
