We will schedule a free consultation which can be done in person or over the telephone to see which kind of bankruptcy the person or married couple will qualify for and what kind of bankruptcy will be the proper fit. We will then discuss the process to hire us and have the case filed along with the applicable fees and costs. We will also answer all questions at that time.

Attorney Joshua B. Sanfield graduated from Michigan State University Law School in 2003 and has been practicing law in the State of Michigan and in the federal courts since March 2004. How did you get started in this business?
I initially began working at a law firm in March 2004 that specialized in bankruptcy law. I realized that I enjoyed this particular area of law and found it rewarding to be able to help others. Since then, I have been solely working in bankruptcy law and have owned my own law firm since 2010.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients from all different backgrounds and of all ages and ethnicities and religions. Our office is welcoming of all people and treats all persons with dignity and respect.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure to ask all of your questions and have all of your concerns addressed. Also make sure to understand the attorney fee arrangement and whether there are extra charges that could arise. Most importantly, make sure you are comfortable with the attorney and that it is a person and law firm you can envision yourself working with.
