Grief Support Services
About
I am an RN and certified grief counselor. I lost a baby girl in 1985 and became certiefied in grief counseling after that as there was no support available in 1985. I have worked with grieving families for many years. In 2013 my son, Sean was murdered by the Boston marathon bombers. Shortly after that, I have done grief counseling full time. I work with families suffering pregnancy loss, child loss or any of 40 other types of loss. I provide grief counseling exclusively..
I am passionate about providing support and counseling to anyone suffering the loss of someone they love. Grief is not exclusive to death and can be experienced through divorce, pet loss, job loss and many others. It is hard to say I enjoy my job as the reason for working with me is not joyful. I do however take great pride in watching grievers take the journey and take charge of their grief. I am honored to have met many families and feel lucky to be part of their lives.
