About
Monarca Counseling is my multicultural, gender-sensitive Practice. My hx had been working for over 30 years in community settings, sober houses, prisons. Substance abuse and mental health issues are my focus. I work with individuals, couples & groups. Relapse Prevention, Anger Management & Parenting are offered upon request. I utilize numerous therapeutic approaches as well as Journaling and Arts Therapies. My sessions are Virtual with room for in person sessions periodically when requested.
I am City University of N.Y, Harvard Graduate School of Education and street-educated. And utilize experience teaching at Miles College, Tuskegee Institute and Tufts University as well. I am accessible in English and some Spanish. In closing, mine is a CHANGE PRACTICE in which I am your Change Agent.
