About
Hi there! I am primarily a child psychologist; however, I do work with adults on a short-term basis who have a specific challenge that can be addressed with Emotional Freedom Technique, or I work as an adjunct to individuals who already have a therapist.
EFT is a self-administered technique that - once you learn it - allows you to calm any overwhelming negative emotion efficiently and effectively. While I personally believe everyone can benefit from therapy, EFT can much more quickly lower the overwhelm that tends to bring people into therapy in the first place!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am private pay only with adults, and am covered by BCBS PPO or Beacon Health Options if the client is a child or adolescent.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received a PH.D. in psychology in 1992 from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
$195.00 for the initial visit and $150 for each visit thereafter. $75 for adults who I see on a short-term basis to introduce EFT.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I see children and adolescents who have all challenges with the exception of sexual abuse, suicidal/homicidal, self-injury, eating disorder, or when there is any court involvement.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I saw an adult with PTSD who was in therapy for four years. After five sessions using EDT she no longer qualified as having PTSD. Phobias can usually be conquered in one session!
