About
I have always been described by others as a caring professional with years of counseling experience. It seems that I have always known that I wanted to be a part of a helping profession. I was the one whose friends and even complete strangers would come to for advice and a listening ear. Even if I didn't always have the answers, I felt like I could point them in the right direction to get the help they needed. I've earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology and a Master's degree in Counseling from McNeese State University. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor/School Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and a Master Addiction Counselor. I have worked with individuals, groups and families with anxiety, depression, PTSD, adjustment disorders, substance abuse and many self-esteem issues.
