I enjoy helping my clients achieve their business goals through branding and marketing communications. I have worked for large corporations and small startups but I deliver the same high level creative solutions no matter the size of the organization. I'm a people person and I like to build long-term business relationships so that I be my clients' "go-to" as they grow.

I have been operating as an independent design contractor since 2004. I live in Atlanta but I have clients all over North America.

I am proficient in all the industry standard desktop publishing software programs (Adobe Creative Cloud) as well as the Google Suites and the Microsoft suite. I have a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, WordPress, and I am a Squarespace Circle designer. I also have created many animated web ads.

Richard is an out-of-the-box thinker and is willing to work with you to do whatever it takes - whether that is design, marketing strategy, working with photographers, videographers or other creatives - he is willing and able. Highly recommended.

I have had the pleasure of working with Richard for the last 15 years on various projects. I was a director of communications for an independent school for 10 years, and for the last five Ive worked as a marketing consultant for higher education. What impresses me most about Richard is his ability to quickly gain a sense of the overall feel for a project even if I’m not quite sure how to articulate it. He listens carefully and suggests thoughtful design choices that are always engaging and well executed. Richard also understands very well the importance of tone and voice not only in text but also in design, which I believe to be a rare quality. Occasionally, I’ve had to involve my colleagues in the concept phase of a project. Richard not only offers to be part of those meetings, but he has repeatedly demonstrated an innate ability to be both attentive and to focus the conversation so that the goal is clear. Having worked together on so many projects I’m particularly grateful for his deep knowledge not only of our organization, but also of my working style. This allows him to advance projects from concept to production efficiently with little need for revisions. Richard is my go-to designer and it has been my pleasure to work with him. I recommend him enthusiastically and without reservation.

Then the client and I refine and revise the options to srrive at the best solution. Once the final design is approved I oversee production and delvery.

These are typical price ranges. Once I have all the details of the project I can provide more accurate pricing.

    Logos: $300 – $1,500

    Brand Guide: $250 – $700

    Website design and development: $2,000 – $10,000

    Social media package: $1,500 – $2,500 monthly

    SEO: $500 – $1,500 monthly

I earned my design degree at Georgia State and I've been working in the field ever since.

I have successfully nurtured many client relationships and I take pride in helping them reach their business goals. The Arthritis Foundation, ASA Airlines, The Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Captain D’s, Chick-fil-A, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Coca-Cola Fountain Division, Delta Air Lines, The Jekyll Island Club Hotel, The Home Depot, and Landmark Christian Schol are just a few of the clients I have had the pleasure to serve.

I was asked to design a branding document for a new recording studio and entertainment facility here in Atlanta called SESSIONS. This venture was the brainchild of Christopher Alan "Tricky" Stewart. Tricky is a Grammy Award winning record producer and music publisher.

I developed the look and feel of the brand and provided guidelines for the application of the brand in this document. To see sample pages from the document visit my website:

I would advise a client to seek out a designer who truly listens and who takes a personal stake in the outcome of the venture. Work with someone who pays attention to every detail and who won't rest until you're happy. In other words, someone like me!

Customers should be honest with themselves about what they are willing to invest in order to bring their project to life. Are they just trying to get it done on the cheap or are they serious about creating something professional that is going to present their brand in the best possible light? If something is worth doing, it's worth doing right.
