What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial consultations are available by phone, video chat, or in person. The first steps when working with any potential client are focused on determining what is troubling them, what are their priorities, what resources do they have at their disposal, and then we review what options that person might have available. Once we discuss those options in depth and the client makes a decision, we lay out a roadmap for successfully putting these worries behind us.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The advice I'd give to anyone considering filing bankruptcy would be: find an experienced bankruptcy attorney that is knowledgeable, can explain the complex issues ahead of you in a way that you can understand, and (most importantly) someone that you feel comfortable with. Whether your case will last a few months or a few years, this is someone that will be assisting you through a complicated time; you need to be able to speak with them freely about your concerns and your goals.
