About this pro

Do you want to make changes in your life but don't know how or where to begin? Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed and as if you put one foot forward only to take several steps back? Are you experiencing sadness , worry or loss of any kind whether it be a separation, divorce, death of a family member or animal?

Together we can explore what has you feeling all these uncomfortable emotions and where they originated and how to change them.

Change isn't easy as I do not come from the perspective or believe in "slapping a band-aid on " .. I believe we need to actually clean out the wound so it will heal properly and not continue to become infected or bothersome.

I use Psychodynamic approaches mixed with Cognitive Behavioral Techniques. Life is a process, therapy is a process and there is no quick fix but we will get you to a better place in your life.

Deanna is a wonderfully compassionate counselor who provided me a focused insight into helping me recognize the main stressor that was impacting my life. I didn't realize the effects of my personal life on my career. Thank you Deanna for helping me be a better person.

Deanna is very skilled and knew what to ask me to help me to learn more about myself. She’s very knowledgeable and insightful and intelligent. I’ve been seeing her two times a week and will continue to work with her to learn more about myself and how to control my emotions better:

She is very smart and skilled. The way she asks the questions at just the right time makes me think about it not only when I'm in my session with her but when I get home. I like her best of all the therapists I have seen.

  • Roger L.

Excellent. Combines compassion with a straight forward direct approach. Very intuitive and intelligent.
