What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Abba's Heart counseling, it is our goal to make sure that new clients have an amazing first experience. We will email you the intake forms, which will then be brought to your first session. Your counselor will then conduct an intake interview. With great care and compassion, your therapist will discover the nature of what brought you to therapy. By the end of the session your therapist will discuss goals, homework, and steps towards your healing process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida and also received my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Rollins College. I am a licensed mental health counselor, national certified counselor, and a Florida qualified supervisor. I am also a Master Therapist in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, which is an amazing treatment for any form of trauma, depression, or anxiety.
