Making a difference is the central focus of my counseling career. I empower clients to embrace coping skills and life strategies that enable them to effectively manage life's many challenges. After a few sessions, clients often experience improvement in communication and relationship skills, self-esteem, and assertiveness. Simultaneously, reductions in stress, anxiety, and depression typically result as an outcome from applying hard-won insights. Clients often experience dramatic improvement in a dozen sessions or less and leave counseling with tangible skills.

Counseling is a collaboration of equals. My education, experience, and training have made me an expert in the human condition; however, I am by no means an expert on you. I am simply a guide, mentor, teacher, and companion on your journey of self-discovery. However we have found ourselves intersecting in this time and space, it is mutually for our best benefit. My experience with clients has confirmed this many times.

I received a bachelor's degree from the University of Miami in Psychology and a Master's of Science degree at Barry University with a dual specialization in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy.

To make a difference in the life of another is the ultimate reward. I paticularly enjoy when a client not only gains insight into his or her issue, but takes tangible action to improve their lives.
