For Individuals, we treat anxiety, depression, and life transitions. At Doheny Counseling, you will experience an eclectic approach to therapy including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Integrative Frequency Therapy which decreases anxiety and depression while increasing mastery through coping skill building and interpersonal relationship skill building.
For couples, we offer specialized Gottman Method Couples Therapy. This research-based approach builds on your friendship, communication skills, antidotes to conflict, friendship, trust, and committment. In addition, you will focus on your dreams, goals, and a shared meaning as a couple.
We offer free consultations to answer questions you may have about the process.
Personally, I enjoy watching and hearing about individuals and couples experience a new understanding about themselves and how to build relationships with others. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with a consultation over the phone to be sure it is a good fit for clients and their counselor. We will discuss concerns and answer any questions about the process. We want you to feel safe and comfortable at Doheny Counseling, LLC.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors degree in Psychology, a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a Certificate of Level 1 & 2 of completion in Gottman Method Couoles Therapy training.

$100 for 60 minute individual sessions
$150 for 90 minute couples sessions
