I started my private practice because I don’t believe people are ill just because they are facing the challenges of life. Whether it be situational or a long existing area of difficulty. We all face times in life when we need support or guidance. However, most traditional models are based in the medical approach which uses labels of illness as means of describing people. Due to genralization of these labels a tremendous amount of stigma has been created. These stigmata have healthy people who need help or support resist reaching out.

Unless you have one of the specific labels of” illness” insurances companies refuse to cover the much-needed support that will effectively address and resolve the life situation you may be facing. I do not assume people are ill because they ask for help. My assumption is people are well and with the right support and guidance can find resolution to many of life’s difficulties. I am here to provide that support. Through our collaboration we will work toward the resolution or answers you desire.
