I enjoy knowing that i've created a safe space for my clients to learn, grow and accept their lived experiences. I grew up in the bay area during a rough time where there were limited resources and accessibility to such services. I believe my work in probation and family support services prepared me for working with individuals as ive learned about family systems and generational trauma that often shape our world views and predict our futures.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically would set up a 20 minute no cost phone consultation to discuss customer needs, scheduling, and my therapy style as well as pricing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Masters degree in Social work, with in emphasis in Mental Health. I have over 12 yrs experience working with community organizations with families as a whole, children and mentally ill adults.

Cost are $120-150 and sliding scale fees apply when needed.
How did you get started in this business?
Growing up in the bay area ive seen the need for more women of color in private practice. Historically, the stigma around Mental Health in the African American communities have created barriers for individuals. Often times we dont feel safe with discussing past traumas or struggles with everyday life. After working in the social services field over 12 years, working in outpatient clinic. I decided to branch out and work with individuals independently to help them discover thier stregths and work on weaknesses.

Seeking any type of support is often hard. However, just reaching out and exploring your options is the first step towards a more healthy and more fullfilling life.
