My "why" has always been helping others succeed. After a career that included producing an award winning documentary for public television, 8 years with NBC Television and 17 years as the CEO of a holding company, I joined Human Resource Consulting where I gained an expertise and passion for training and coaching, a passion that continues today. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process involves three stages. First we explore who you are and what you are naturally gifted to achieve in career work, focusing on work that will challenge and engage you. This will include some testing. Second, we discuss and agree on the types of companies you would like to work for, focusing on culture, location, growth. Then we research the marketplace to find those firms and begin the marketing campaign using databases to directly target decision makers and in doing so uncover the hidden job market. Finally, we scour the advertised job market for advertised openings. By marketing to both companies in your area that are a good fit for you by reaching out directly to targeted decision makers, as well as advertised jobs near you, you will greatly shorten the transition time to a new position.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to my B.S degree in Television and Film and my work in management at one of America's top companies (NBC), I also spent 6 years working in Human Resource Consulting where I trained on Caeer Outplacement Coaching. Since that time, I continue to take additonal courses in career marketing and management with organizaions like The College of Executive Coaching.

How did you get started in this business?
After selling my holing company, I was recruited into Human Resource Consulting in order to coach small to medium business owners the firm I worked for specialized in. I have always been my happiest when I work in or lead a collaborative effort. Because of that, i find this work most satisfying.
