Hello! I am a Business Growth Strategist and the CEO of Starshine Communities Inc., (an Arizona Benefit Corporation) who specializes in working with soulopreneurs and startups to successfully launch, grow and manage your business and simplify your life.
I have successfully started over 14 small businesses, have served on the board for the Small Business Administration, been mentioned in Entrepreneur Magazine and featured on talk radio as well as NBC, ABC, CBS, and Fox affiliate television stations.
My particular passion is for working with woman-owned businesses and helping aspiring entrepreneurs bring their business vision to life with clarity, focus and direction.

Besides for owning and operating my own businesses for over 20 years, I am a certified life, business and success coach.

I offer package pricing depending on your needs. In addition, I offer a "pay-as-you-grow" plan for those newer in business.
How did you get started in this business?
When I sold my Executive Suites business in 2003, I was sitting on the board for the SBA in Sacramento and mentoring other small business owners. The coaching profession was in it's infancy and I quickly jumped on board and received my first coaching certification. Coaching is a perfect blend of my college education (teaching) and my passion (entrepreneurship).
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with young professionals who were seeking to start their own business right out the gate; women wanting to turn their passion project into a viable business; and transitional professionals ready to take their corporate skills and turn them into their own business.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love the ah-ha moments experienced during our peer advisory group meetings. Not only do we get to learn from our peers, but we have an oportunity to share our own knowledge to collectively help each other grow.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be sure to take your perspective coach up on their offer for a free session or consult. Remember that change does not happen overnight. You will be establishing a relationship with your coach and you want to choose the right coach for you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
You will want to ask a few other questions besides their program fee. For instance: What is their coaching philosophy? What is their coaching experience? Are they credentialed and if so, through who? What is their coaching specialty? What is their coaching process? And, this is key, any other question that is important to you.
Then, once you get off the phone, you need to ask yourself these questions: What was your comfort level talking to the coach? Did you connect? Were you able to ask everything you wanted to know or did they control the conversation? Only talk about themselves and their program?
Compared to all the coaches you spoke with, who understood best where you are and where you want to be? Which coach did you feel would inspire you to take the actions necessary to accomplish your goals? And, whose program best fit your needs and reason for hiring a coach in relation to training, experience, process and price?
