What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you are inquiring about tax service, we first screen you to ensure Tasha's Tax Services can meet your needs.
We ask if you would like to set up an appointment or use our mobile link to have your taxes prepared. We can also come to you.
We ask that you have your documentation together and give you a price list.
Taxes are prepared typically the day of the appointment and sent to the IRS after payment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My credentials can be looked up by searching irs.gov website, in the directory of tax preparers.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My prices vary by services and number of forms used to prepare your taxes, starting as low as $30 for tax preparation and going as high as $1399 depending on forms 1040 only. All other services are timed by the hour.
How did you get started in this business?
I went to college for accounting. After many hours and years of study, I realized from 7 yrs of experience and lots of practice I was ready to open my own tax preparation business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Many lower-income individuals several small businesses and newly opening service to tax resolutions and audits.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A tax resolution customer, by using a letter of compromise and great calculations and many hours of research and expenses usage, I was able to get $21,000 tax bill lowered to $7000 with monthly payments to $292 with a 24 month pay off.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for a person that has the time and care to meet your needs.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Affordability?
