How did you get started in this business?
I'm one of the original cofounders of Grand Apps. I started right out of college in 2011, just after the recession. We noticed a huge need for great app development in our city, so we started there.
We kept growing and growing and here we are :) We started from a basement but now we're in an "offical" office and everything is on the rise! We are very fortunate to have jumped into this at the right moment and continue to try to improve daily.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Understand the scope of work before you jump into it. Everyone has an idea for an app or software, but you should understand the industry, costs and time so there is no shock after consulting with an agency like us.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
You should have a wireframe / blueprint for your project. If you don't have one, you can hire us to help. However make sure you have that all sorted out.
Also make sure you do research about the project too.
