What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to start with a quote. I generally direct people to my online site to answer basic questions regarding their situation. Turn around time is 24 hrs but they can occur sooner. Your quote will be emailed to you along with. Basic idea of whether you'd receive a refund or you the client would owe. The client then can chose if they want to continue.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've worked in the financial industry for over 20 years. I have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Lakeland University.
I've been doing taxes for friends and family for over 10 years. If not preparing their taxes I've provided assistance and support to help them understand any issues that were having.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing actually varies. We start at $200. Complexity of the return and when you wish to pay can be a factor when determining price. For example if you pay upfront at the end of the service you'll pay just the Tax Preparer fee. If you want fees taken out of your refund then it'll be the preparer fee plus and the bank fee of $185. So I always encourage payment upfront to save money the customer money.
How did you get started in this business?
This is a franchise. I contacted a friend after doing this for years and asked how could I become an independent owner. Opportunities are available if anyone is interested in becoming a franchise owner as well. All it takes is one phone call and I can get you started a well. We are a growing business with over 11,000 owners.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We will consider most financial situations I'd you are looking for services. We do not however offer services to corporations. If we garner enough interest, we will purchase the software to service those interested.

Opening this business. It's been a dream of mine for years and to do this is truly a blessing.
