Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was recently at an ASCII event that had a great opportunity to connect and have everyone ask their burning question for the most difficult business situation they find themselves in most frequently. It was eye-opening to hear what business owners deal with in their businesses.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
When choosing a bookkeeper for your business, you have to be very careful. Remember that you are giving this person access to your finances. You have to establish two things before hiring a freelance bookkeeper: knowledge and trustworthiness.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How much will this cost per month? It's not the hourly rate you're concerned about, its how much your total bill is going to be at the end of each month.
How much experience do you have? There's no easy answer to this question. Some bookkeepers can have years of experience. Other new bookkeepers have worked for many companies, but haven't done one set of books for a long time.
