What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1: FREE Initial Consultation Step 2: Client completes our onboarding form, uploads the requested documents, and gives us access to their books for review. Step 3: Our team reviews the client's file and books. Step 4 : We create a plan for the client's accounts and submit a proposal to the client Step 5: We execute plan and client receives clean financials that help them take their business in to a bright and profitable future!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our head consultant, Allie Corrigan, has over 18 years of financial management experience, starting with working in the Financial Management Office at the US Embassy in Singapore. The Business Shoppe is affiliated with Summit CPA's. Tim Wood is the head CPA at this firm and has over 30 years of accounting and tax filing experience. We have a team of experienced bookkeepers and specialists with years of education in the field of accounting and bookkeeping.

For the entrepreneur who needs basic reconciliation and reporting services we have our extremely popular MONTHLY BUSINESS BUNDLES. We build these bundles around the needs of the client and they are FLAT RATE monthly bundles! We offer flat rate bundle and "a la carte" services for growing businesses!
How did you get started in this business?
Allie started this business years ago and quickly realized the need in the market for consolidated business services. Most business owners feel lost at sea in the world of tax filings, financial management, and business ownership. It can be very isolating to be an entrepreneur, our goal is to help every business owner gain access to resources, education, and empowerment to run profitable businesses they love!
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with churches, contractors, real estate agents, dog treat makers, estheticians, salon owners, painters, restaurant owners, attorneys, retail marijuana stores, photographers, arcades, and so much more!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The Business Shoppe recently engaged with a very large association struggling with a whole host of issues. They were behind on their books, their employees hadn't had accurate sick or vacation leave accrual in years, their board hadn't received an accurate financial report in quite some time. In 60 days we had their books caught up, new payroll systems implemented. We increased and improved their cash flow by implementing new methods of payment and lowered their operating costs.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Think about what you want the results to be. If you want to get your bookkeeping system together think about what you want the end result to be. Is it just that your books are finally done, or do you want them done AND have a process in place to keep them from getting behind. If you are looking for business planning services, what is the purpose of the plan? Is it to attract investors or to create organization internally? The systems you implement now will eventually be the systems that support the growth of your business. You get what you pay for, it's important to invest in good systems and vetted professionals to advise and assist you in creating solid systems that support the growth of your business, produce solid financial reports, and create fertile ground for profitability!
