What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained at the highly acclaimed Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy & Bodywork where I was able to receive my professional license and national certification in bodywork. Training included 545 hours in anatomy and physiology, massage techniques, holistic studies, kinesiology, hydrotherapy, ethics and psychology of touch, and much more. I have experience working with all types of clients: those with debilitating pain, trauma, or ongoing medical issues, to children with special needs, to the noble and wise. I feel that it's important to balance your mind, body, and spirit, in order to help your body's natural healing process.
I have continued my education of massage and now offer Ashiatsu Deep Tissue.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a professional in your area of expertise?
I recommend finding a massage therapist that offers a wide range of modalities. Someone that you feel at ease with, can relax around, and who doesnt talk too much. Someone that really listens to you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their needs?
What areas of my body are in pain, tight, or has limited movement. What stress do I experience daily. What kind of postures effect my life...such as sitting at a desk for long periods.
